Spring is in the air. Birds are building nests and flowers are in bloom. But amidst the season of Love a bitterness has spoiled the sweetness of Glymm Mere. Our chaste chocolate has been adulterated by the seductive peanut butter of Blatha An Oir. Baron Hengist's golden blossoms seek once again to pollinate our virgin meadows. Beevairians rise up! Friends of Glymm Mere rise up! War threatens our honey, our sweets, and our chocolate!

Hours: Site opens for merchants at 10am Friday; populace at 1pm. Site closes 3pm Sunday

Along with the WAR!!! There will be rapier, archery, equestrian, arts & sciences, bardic, children’s activities, brewing competition and a culinary competition.

ATTENTION TO THE POPULACE. The site owners regarding bringing animals on site.

. Registered Service animals only. (except horses specifically brought for equestrian activities of course).

 Friday June 19–


10:00am:- Gate Opens for Merchants


12:00noon:- Gate Opens


6:00 PM York target open


12:00midnight: Gate closes – people can still come on site, but please check in when gate opens in the morning


Saturday June 20–


8:00am: Gate Opens for Saturday


9am:  Opening Court


Following Court will be the Champions competition: 5 man war band, Heavy, Rapier, Archery, Thrown weapons. Each worth one war point.


Arts & Sciences


Mystery Box A&S Challenge, sign up and box collection following morning court. It is to be turned into Her Excellency by 2pm. This is for a war point.

A dirty dozen competition! Please make twelve items that follow one of the themes of honey, war and/or Reeses candy. (Examples but not limited to: twelve necklaces that have the color of honey or Reeses candy in them, twelve embroidered handkerchiefs that have a bee on them). Please label each item with the maker's name, home branch, what theme it follows and what the item is. The winner will be chosen by a populace choice. The winner will also get first choice of one of the entries, other entrants will chose afterwards one item. The rest will be given to the Barony as largesse. Please email me at if you have any questions and to announce your decision to compete. I need to know how many tables are needed. Thank you, and good luck to all!
