Where the ocean breezes meet the ermine
trees, the humble Shire of Tymberhavene holds their first
Hastilude. A hastilude, a period term literally meaning "Lance
Games". This, our first equestrian event will featuring mounted
target archery, a quintan course, plafrey to ride, pig sticking,
heads and more. This event will also determine The Shire of
Tymberhavene's first equestrian champion!
We are also having:
Rapier Tourney, final round with off
hand as a hobby horse
Heavy Tourney, a 6 round tourney with
the final round being on horse back, hobby horse back that
is
Target archery, a fun round of "pin the
tail"
Thrown Weapons, our target will be a
figure of a "knight" on horse back
We will have a fundraiser soup lunch for donations. Gate opens at 9
a.m., closes at 8 p.m.
Site fees:
Adult - $10
Youth, 12-17 - $5
Child 11 and under - Free
Non-member fee $5, Make checks payable to the Shire of
Tymberhavene, SCA Inc.
