The Barony of Dragons Laire would like to invite you to join
us in beautiful Silverdale WA in the heart of An-Tir for the
2011 Kingdom Arts, Sciences and Bardic competitions on March
11th, 12th and 13th 2011, at
the Silverdale Beach Hotel.
The Hotel has 50 single and 50 double rooms
(offered at $89.00 and $99.00 respectively) for

There are two additional hotels, the Oxford Suites (360)
698-9550, and Oxford Inn (360) 692-7777, within easy walking
distance, less than 2 blocks, for overflow
attendees.
Silverdale Beach Hotel sits on the shores of Sinclair inlet
with half of the rooms having water views.
Hotel catering is willing to provide a “Grab &
Go” style breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday
Morning and lunch buffet on Saturday at reasonable rates
(estimate between $12 and $15)
For indoor spaces, small contained open flames such as
candles, sterno or electric hot plates are OK.
For outdoor spaces, braziers' with low flames or charcoal are
OK. There is a
large fire pit available for evening entertainment as well as
standing propane heaters for the court yard area.
All event activities will be contained at the Silverdale
Beach Hotel.
In addition to lodging, other nearby amenities include 5+
restaurants, 10+ fast food franchises and numerous local
shops. JoAnne Fabrics and Staples are right across the
street. Safeway, Albertson’s and Red Apple groceries
are within two blocks. Michael’s Crafts, Kitsap Mall
and Fed-ex Office/Kinko’s are within six
blocks.

Fighting -Heavy
and rapier fighters will be randomly paired into teams of two
(one of each discipline). The intention is to encourage
interaction between the 2 disciplines. The tournament
will either be a double elimination or a round robin
depending on the number of people/teams. Each round
will be 2 out of 3, fighting heavy then rapier, if a
third fight needs to happen then it will alternate between
heavy and rapier. (See Sir Rauokinn or Don Talon at the
event)
