Greetings to all good citizens of An Tir and beyond:
Come one and all to the 23rd Annual Archery, Thrown Weapons and Equestrian Competitions.
There will be many activities for all interests, including, but not limited to: University of Ithra Classes, children's archery, games, crafts and Dragon Hunt. Ladies - the 7th Annual Guillermo da Sierra Patace Memorial Bocce Tourney will be offered. There will also be Boccee Ball for the children and a first time Boccee Ball Tourney for the men.There will be a Novelty Archery Prize shoot - entrance fee is a prize item. Keep checking on our website for an update on activities and Ithra classes. Ithra classes will also be listed on the Ithra site.
There are no kitchen facilities available, be prepared to provide your meals. Also there are fine restaurants nearby. Also grocery, gas and liquor store available within 4 miles. The traditional traveler's soup will be available starting at 6pm on Friday night for a small $3.00 donation to cover ingredient costs.
This is a discreetly wet site, An Tir and mundane laws will be strictly enforced. Period containers are a must! Regulations for open flames will be updated on the website as we get closer and the fire marshal posts them. Pets must be on a leash and picked up after. Kress Lake is adjacent to the grounds - please watch the children!
Site Fees: Age 16 and up $12.00: 4-15 $7.00: under 4 are FREE. There is a Maximum fee of $35.00 for modern family (parents and children 17 and younger) Day trip fee: Age 16 and up $8.00: and : 4-15 $4.00 . Make checks payable to Shire of Rivers Bend - SCA. Inc. Corporate mandated $3.00 Non-member surcharge will be added to the adult fee. As per Shire and Kingdom policy, those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (21 or over) with the proper parental permission, etc. documents.
Site opens at 12pm on Friday the 22th and will close at 5pm on Sunday the 24th. No early arrivals without the express permission of the Autocrat.
