	Standard Bearer, Order of the	Barony of Montengarde: Bestowed upon one whose spirit and courage best typifies the dream within us all. The Honour of Bearer of the Standard is held for one year and its recipient bears the responsibility of its care and safety, ensures its appearance at all events attended by Their Excellencies Montengarde, and carries it at the side of the Baron or the Dragonslayer in all battles. Upon completion of the recipient's tenure, and upon the selection of their successor, the recipient shall become a Guardian of the Standard and shall forever share the responsibility of its protection and the advancement of the ideals for which it stands.
