Heraldic Education Deputy (Black Stag)

Black Stag is the kingdom educational herald, in charge of education of both heralds and of the general populace on heraldic matters. He or she (or a designate) is in charge of coordinating Kingdom heraldic symposia, scheduling the classes for this and acting as the College's liason to the hosting branch. Black Stag also schedules and coordinates heraldic "road trips", informal heraldic gatherings generally in somewhat outlying areas of the Kingdom, which may include classes, consult tables and/or Kingdom meetings (submissions processing, etc.) Multiple members of the College of Heralds generally go on these trips, usually consisting of Kingdom Staff and others. Another duty of Black Stag is to encourage fun activities to excite heraldic interest, which have included "privy postings" of interesting heraldic trivia and heraldic jokes, heraldic display contests and heraldic games.
